  • Falcon Extendable Planks are compliant with ANSI A10.8-2019, and the equivalent OSHA and CSA Standards.
When using aluminum planks in accordance with A10.8-2019 and OSHA standards:
  • Plank Overhang: Planks that are 10 feet or less in length must have a minimum overhang of 6 inches and a maximum of 12 inches. For planks greater than 10 feet, the minimum is 6 inches and the maximum is 18 inches.
  • Load Capacity: Always use planks rated for the intended load (e.g., light duty, medium duty, heavy duty).
  • Inspection: Regular inspection of aluminum planks and associated equipment is crucial to identify any damage or wear that could compromise safety.
